Robert N. Pereus, 88, of Temperance, MI, died Wednesday, November 16, 2016, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Born, September 15, 1928, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Stephen and Angeline (Bach) Pereus. A WWII Army veteran, he married Carol Sue Michalak on July 23, 1970. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Temperance and The Zenobia Shrine. Robert enjoyed golfing, working out, traveling abroad and dancing.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; children, Rhonda (Brian) Bowron and James Velliquette; grandchildren, Jay and Nicholas Heiden, Matthew Bowron, Lindsey Borton; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Colt, Colin, and Jayden; sister, Helen Gozdowski and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Pereus and sister, Betty Frasvewski.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 12:00 Noon, Monday, November 21, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, OH. Memorials may be made to the Zenobia Shrine or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
